We have partnered together with Club Global Ltd to bring a contactless ordering app to all pubs, bars and restaurants ready for the big reopening from 4th of July.
The new app, Local Global, helps venues stay safe and sanitary once they reopen. This is in line with the national guidelines put in place to control the spread of infection.
“Using the app is really simple.” Alan Hartin, the founder and Managing Director at Image+ explains. “Venues can register using the web app link. Once approved they will be able to update their profile with menu items and prices.”
Customers can download the app from Google Play and Apple Store to select the venue they are in, view the menu and place their orders to be delivered straight to their table. Venues can also be provided with individual QR Codes to further simplify the download process for the customers.
Orders can then be received on individual staff smartphones or simply from one central device stored behind the bar – in this case, appropriate hand sanitation procedures should be followed between handling.
Not only can the app ensure maximum hygiene at venues, but it can also be a great tool for driving orders and repeat visits to the venue. Alan says: “Extra functions such as setting minimum spend and requesting deposits for pre-booked tables can provide a great way for venues to ensure they reach their profit margins.
“This will be invaluable to many venues right now as enforced social distancing will limit the revenue they can make. But this feature should help to reassure business-owners that they can continue to operate without making a loss.”
